Hello Class from Emily's Nana. I am home for now. Because of the bad things that have happened in our country I will not be driving on the road in the big truck for a while. Emily's Poppa is still driving and he is trying to get to Fayetteville to visit all of you. He is in California again today and will be traveling to Topeka, Kansas. Please do will in class and learn something new everyday! Be on your best behaviour and listen to the teachers. They teach you wonderful things. Hope your break was good. Talk to you soon. Love from Emily's Nana

Hello Class, This is Emily's Nana reporting to you from Dayton, Texas. Emily's Poppa has been traveling around the United States driving lots of miles this past week. He went from Los Angeles Ca to Topeka, Kansas. From there he traveled to Lake Oswego, Oregon. That is just south of Portland. Then he took a truckload of paper to Greeley, Colorado. Tonight he is on his way to Cheyenne, Wyoming and then on to Sioux Falls, Iowa. He will be in Iowa on Thursday. He says it has been raining and snowing and the wind has been blowing fiercely! Hard enough to make the trailer rock back and forth a little. Winter is definitely on its way. Hope you are all learning new things every day. Pay attention to the teachers. They are your best friends in school and they care about each of you. We are so proud of Emily getting her 100 point button and are waiting anxiously for her to get the next one. Everyone should read. It is lots of fun. I read every day. Be good. I love you all. Emily's Nana

Hi again from Emily Linton's Nana. Looks like some of you children have been very busy reading. I am so proud of Emily for earning her 125 point button. And she had a birthday in October. The school year is flying by. I hope you are all learning something new everyday. Emily's Poppa is still traveling around the United States. He went from Iowa to Minnesota then back west again to Colorado. Today he in Nevada. And by Monday morning he will be near Sacramento, California. It is cold where he is. About 36 degrees and he says up on the high mountains you can see snow. Burr! Be good children and read lots of books. Love from Emily's Nana

Hello Class, This is Emily Linton's Nana again. Her Poppa drove from California to Salt Lake City, Utah. Did you know that the Great Salt Lake has so much salt in the water that it makes it almost impossible to drown? Poppa is currently driving from Reno, Nevada to Sacramento, Ca. Then he went to Yakima, Washington, Kent,Washington and is now on his way back to California. He sure does get around to a lot of places. Thanksgiving will be here soon. Hope you are all ready for turkey. Love to you all. Be good children and obey the teachers. Emily's Nana

Hello Class, Emily's Nana here again. Happy Birthday to you Mrs. Dees. Hope you had a great day. Emily's Poppa is in Salt Lake City again. He has a whole load of bathtubs in the trailer. Tomorrow he will be heading for Las Vegas, Nevada. Hope you are all ready for Thanksgiving. We should be thankful for so much. Even though there are many bad people in the world there are lots more who are truly good and caring people. Eat lots of turkey or whatever you will have at your dinner. Give somebody a hug today and remember to smile. Love to you all. Emily's Nana

Hello Class, I hope you are all doing well and reading LOTS and LOTS of books. I want all of you to get at least one button this year. We are so proud of Emily's 400 point button. She is our special granddaughter. Emily's Poppa is still trying to get to Fayetteville to see all of you. And when he can get a load we will let you know. I am still going to school and I have to read lots of books myself. But I do not get wonderful buttons like you children have. Do well in school. Behave and follow directions.

Hello Children, Well, the school year is almost over. I am glad to see you have been reading lots of books. And of course I am VERY proud of Emily for the points she has earned.

I am sorry you were not in school when I came to Fayetteville. My school is almost over also. Please continue to read this summer. It is so important. Tell your Moms and Dads to take you to the library. Sometimes it is just as much fun to read a good story as it is to play outdoors.  I know my Stacy is a wonderful helper. I am proud of her also. Thank you children for letting Sarah share your class from time to time. She loves that. Be good and do as you are told. I love you all. Emily Linton's Nana
