Why cooking in the classroom?
Cooking is one of the most satisfying activities in the Two-Gether Express classroom! Not only is it enjoyable, it is a laboratory for learning. As children follow the directions for each recipe, they use reading, mathematics, science and writing. They will develop physical skills as they stir, peel, knead and chop. Children learn to work "Two-Gether as well as develop independence by completing most recipes without adult help. Cooking appeals to children's senses and provides a wealth of learning opportunities! |
