1/2 HOURS EACH DAY. EACH STUDENT MUST DO 5 "HAVE TO CENTERS EACH DAY. ( All students can easily complete 1 center every 30 minutes if they use their time wisely!) Students may choose "free choice" centers when they complete their "have to" centers. Students are encouraged not to visit the same centers everyday. (Children must have special permission to revisit a center.) |

CONTRACTS
|
Weekly contracts help guide the students through the week and inform teachers of which centers students have visited and which centers they need to visit. Weekly contracts are sent home each Friday. Academic and social skills progress is reflected along with total number of AR points and spelling grades! Parents are to sign the weekly contract and return it each Monday. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
Center Signs!

Students select the center they wish to visit. They may select a center that has not been checked on their weekly contract. The center must have space for the them. The children can look at the center signs and determine if there is "space" for them in the center. If the center is full, the students must select another center. The center sign displays the name of the center, the number of the center and how many students can be in the center. The number on the sign matches the number on the contract. Red signs = "have to" centers. Green signs = "free centers".
